Current Pro Rodeo Horse: Imanonstop Princess 12 year old palomino mare. Princess has had issues in the past with tying up and respiratory allergies. Rodeoing full time is very stressful on both the horses immune system and rate of recovery between runs. The stamina to haul for months at a time and run against the best horses in the world is the difference between making the NFR and watching the NFR from the couch at home. Last year I came up short and got to watch. This year I was looking for a way to make the last little bit of difference so that I will be running instead of watching come December. I have started all of my younger horses on Smooth Run Pro Calming. As we haul and start to season colts there is a high stress level that comes with the ‘learning curve.’ There are so many factors that go into getting a horse from colt to winning open or rodeo horse. We put so many environmental stresses on these horses it is no wonder so many performance horses get ulcers, get mentally blown up or start to physically look bad. I have added Smooth Run Pro Calming to my program for several reasons.

The Gastro Blend helps keep stomach acid under control when horses are put in stressful situations. It also aids in digestion so that the horse’s gut stays healthy and they continue to eat when hauled instead of coming off their feed.

The Calming additive helps my colts stay calm and focused when we get ready to compete. All the training in the world goes down the drain if your horse doesn’t keep their nerves under control. So many horses hold nervousness or anxiety internally these are the ones that start to act out. I find so many horses can be ‘fixed’ with a little calming herbal supplementation!

The Breathe Smooth helps with changes in environment, allergens, dust and shavings. A horse that can’t breathe can’t perform to its full potential.

The Smooth Run Plus that makes up the last part of the Pro formula is the VITAL part! It contains all the joint supplemention needed to keep your horse’s joints feeling good threw training and performance. Anything I can do to keep from having to have joints injected, especially with young horses, I am all for.
