Valerian Root (Valeriana officinalis) is one of the most studied plants that have been used for centuries to help alleviate tension, calm upset nerves, and improve coordination. Chamomile flowers (Matricaria chamomilla) is the best-known European “cure-all” that have proven properties as an antispasmodic, anti-ulcer and antibacterial. One of the longest known and most firmly established properties of this herb is its anti-inflammatory effect. Internally or externally applied, it will reduce inflammation caused by infections, wounds, metabolic disorders and so forth. As with the many other benefits, Ginger root (Zingiber officinale) helps the body recover from the effects of stress and fatigue more rapidly.
